You know your a photographer or just pure crazy, that you can’t stand spider’s any other time and your the one standing on the chairs, bed, table squealing “is it gone yet” ??
Could it be that you can get close up without out physically having to, the knowing that there is that barrier of a lens?
Everyday that have i been outside it catches my attention, curiosity got the better of me early this morning and the result is the above, This guy or gal is nestled between the roof and the garden shed, it’s web is about half a meter wide, and of course it wouldn’t it had to move towards whilst i was taking photo’s ….. Ekkkkk Yuck !! it was quite fascinating tho i must admit.

Great shot! I am not too fond of spiders myself!
Thanks Stacey
I’m a photographer but I leave the photographing of spiders to my husband:)
You should have a go at photographing them Toni, even if it’s just once
That’s a beautiful images. I love the light on the web, the spider gives me the heebie jeebies but that’s cause they scare me. Great work!
Thank you for your comment Teowai, they give me the same feeling and i think they always will to some point.
whenever we are following our passions we tend to forget our fears. a lesson to carry through to other areas of our lives.
I like ! thanks for sharing Dot
Wow! Talk about being ready for your close-up. That is amazing.
Thanks Sabrina
My husband loves taking photographs of insects when on holidays. At least, he doesn’t bring them back with him! I prefer looking at a photograph.
Haha, one day he might? Has he tried or does he use a macro lens at all?
Nice! I hope you had a telephoto lens. I’d be afraid it would be a jumper. I love the detail in the webbing. It does look like you’re right there.
Hi Toby, yes i did i used my Nikon 70-300mm lens a good distance between us both
